Greg Gagne is a former Air Force JAG who joined in 2001. He started as a prosecutor at Hurlburt Field, then moved to defense work before leaving active duty. For more than two decades he has represented service members in courts-martial, investigations, and administrative proceedings across every branch and every major CONUS and OCONUS location.

He has tried hundreds of courts-martial and boards—sexual assault (Article 120), child pornography (CSAM), drug offenses, violent crimes, fraud, separation actions, retirement and disability boards, and flag-level misconduct cases. He has secured full acquittals in multiple trials and preserved millions of dollars in retirement and disability benefits for clients facing punitive discharge, administrative separation, forfeiture, or reduction in grade.

Greg is active in the Connecticut Bar Association’s Veterans and Military Affairs Section and served on the board of the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center.

Outside military practice he advises small and mid-sized Connecticut businesses on compliance, employment disputes, HIPAA, and liability exposure, often stepping in early to keep problems from turning into lawsuits. That same early-intervention mindset carries over to his military clients: spotting command climate issues, improper investigations, or chain-of-command pressure before they harden into charges or adverse actions.

He earned his B.A. from the Trinity College J.D. from UConn Law. He is admitted in Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and to practice in military courts worldwide.
